Matchbox currently have a position available for a Mobile Solution Architect. This position involves supporting the US sales team in gathering requirements and architecting custom mobile applications and services for prospective clients. The role will involve working with a wide variety of clients to determine their needs. To scope project requirements sufficiently in order to determine cost and timescales and to help produce a proposal and to produce detailed technical specification documents for the project. The role will also include providing general technical support to the US sales team and clients as required.

Orange Boss says Web Access, Data Recession Proof

The demand for mobile Internet access and data services such as games and pictures appears to be recession proof, the global head of France Telecom’s (FTE.PA) Orange mobile business said.
Olaf Swantee told reporters in London on Wednesday night that 24 percent of its mobile customers were using 30 megabytes (MB) of data per month.
